Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model on the activities and learning outcomes of students in class X IPA MAS Nurul Hakim. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) where this study has a control class, but does not work fully to be able to control external variables that influence the research. The population in the study was class X IPA MAS Nurul Hakim for the academic year 2019/2020 which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 60 students. The sampling technique used is the Total Sampling technique. And the samples used were all students, namely class X IPA A being the control class consisting of 30 students and class X IPA B being the experimental class conducted by 30 students. The research instrument for student learning activities is using an activity questionnaire sheet which contains 8 component indicators, while for student learning outcomes, namely the multiple choice pretest and posttest, there are 30 questions that have been validated. The data analysis technique used in this research is to use statistics using the t test. And data analysis using hypotheses. The results of the study on learning activities in the experimental class were 61.3%-97.7% were actively registered in the control class, the results were 34.7%-67.7% were actively registered. The average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class is 79.56 and the average value in the control class is 62.83. So that the results of the recapitulation of the evaluation of student learning activities provide an experimental class > control class, as a result Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Learning outcomes are in accordance with the results of the analysis of the value of tcount > ttable, namely 8.5265 > 2.0006 at the level = 0.05. It was found that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. So it can be said that there is an effect of activity and student learning outcomes using the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model on Ecosystem material in Class X IPA MAS Nurul Hakim.
